At this time, I don't have the resources or the availability to participate in this idea. And I happen to agree with those who think it won't really get off the ground anyway. Nonetheless, I submit a monologue. And, to be honest, I think if you guys really do go through with this whole thing, I think the script should be silent. MOS. Tell the story visually. Not only is it more practical, less of a burden, and less expensive, but it forces you to think more cinematic. Then in post, add the soundtrack. Much like music videos that tell stories.
But, if the monologue idea does prevail, here's one to consider:
Whenever I?ve had a problem or if I did something wrong -
I would come to you. And I was straight. Every mistake I?ve
ever made I?ve admitted. I?ve never been afraid to be honest
with you. Ever. Even when I knew I was gonna make myself
look like the assh*le. So if you?re comin? to me sayin, ?Hey,
sorry. Looks like this is the end? - then fine. You gotta
reorganize - got too many people on your hands - whatever.
Just as long as it is what it is. But don?t make me a part of
something that went bad just to make it easier on yourself.
Because then you get slimy. And that?s when it becomes
trouble.
I didn?t want to have to say these things. I was hoping it would
be painless for both of us. I have been mature enough and
responsible enough to do the job I was hired to do. I dare
you to go upstairs and tell them otherwise. There?s
a common misconception around here that I?m a boyscout.
Cause I follow the rules. Well, if all the rules make sense to
me - I have no reason not to.
But just remember one thing. I?ve been to your house . Four
years ago. The company party. And I know where your
son goes to school. I know it?s close enough that he
doesn?t take a bus - and he doesn?t get a ride. I know how to
get there.
For the purposes of this particular experiment, I think it's best if everything else like location, characters, etc are left to those who translate the monologue to the screen.

Good monologue. It seems like it's highest point of intensity are the last few sentences. It leaves you hanging at that point, but satisfied at the same time. Most definately a candidate.
